About the Role -
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in the Platform as a Service Team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-native platforms with a strong focus on AKS and ARO. You will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our cloud-based solutions, driving automation, and implementing best practices in DevSecOps.
Key Responsibilities -
• OpenShift Expertise: Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
• Platform Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and implement GitOps practices with ArgoCD.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices are embedded across the CI/CD pipeline, container security, and access management.
• Cloud Technologies: Work extensively with Microsoft Azure, including Azure-hosted databases, virtual machines, and backup solutions.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Splunk or similar tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with architects, product owners, and other engineering teams to align platform capabilities with business needs.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with global and local teams, driving strategic technical initiatives in an agile environment.
• Process Improvement: Identify and drive improvements in DevSecOps methodologies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications -
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive hands-on experience with OpenShift (installation, upgrades, administration, and troubleshooting).
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and cloud-native development.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation and ArgoCD for GitOps workflows.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and security integration within a DevSecOps framework.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including vulnerability management, policy enforcement, and access control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and its services related to networking, security, and compute.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
• Agile mindset, preferably with SAFe Agile experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with global teams across time zones.
• Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes operators.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd) for OpenShift environments, preferred.
• Hands-on exposure to Terraform Cloud & Enterprise features.
• Prior experience in automotive embedded software environments.
