Business Analyst - EdTech

Role Overview 
We are looking for a curious and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our growing EdTech team. In this role, you will support the management, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Learning Management System (LMS) and Zoho application ecosystem. You will act as the connective tissue between educators, operations teams, and technical developers — translating business needs into clear system requirements and ensuring our platforms work seamlessly together to deliver outstanding learning experiences. 

Key Responsibilities 
LMS Administration 
• Support day-to-day administration of the LMS platform (e.g., Moodle, TalentLMS, Cornerstone, Canvas)
 • Assist with course setup, user enrolment, permissions, and troubleshooting for learners and instructors 
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues to technical teams with clear documentation
 • Generate reports on learner engagement, course completion, and platform usage Zoho Application Management 
• Assist in configuring and maintaining Zoho apps including CRM, People, Projects, and Creator 
• Document Zoho workflows, automation rules, and custom modules 
• Support internal teams in adopting Zoho tools effectively through training and guides
 • Identify opportunities to streamline processes using Zoho Flow or Deluge scripting System Integration & Analysis 
• Map data flows between the LMS, Zoho, and third-party EdTech tools • Document API connections, webhook configurations, and data sync processes
 • Conduct gap analyses to identify integration pain points and propose solutions 
• Collaborate with developers and vendors to test and validate system integrations Business Analysis & Documentation 
• Gather requirements from educators, operations, and product stakeholders 
• Produce user stories, process flow diagrams, and functional specifications 
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and track defects through resolution 
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations and business rules 

Skills & Qualifications Required 
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Education Technology, or related field
 • 5 years experience in a BA, systems support, or operations role 
• Familiarity with at least one LMS platform 
• Basic understanding of Zoho apps (CRM, People, or Creator) 
• Knowledge of system integration concepts (APIs, webhooks, data sync) 
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis 
• Strong written communication — able to document for technical and non-technical audiences 

Nice to Have
• Experience with Zoho Flow, Zapier, or Make for workflow automation 
• Exposure to SQL or basic scripting (Deluge, Python) 
• Zoho or LMS platform certifications
 • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology 
• Understanding of SCORM, xAPI, or eLearning content standards
 • Experience working in an EdTech, SaaS, or digital learning environment
